Rio Negro is the one of large tributary of the great Amazon River, it has a black water; which, looks more like strong tea than a dark oil slick comes from high concentrations of humic acid.
The Capital Manaus city lies at the confluence of two great rivers; Solimões and Rio Negro. Because of the different colors of the two rivers, it’s possible to see precisely where they meetup “Meeting of Waters“
Departure: 8:00 a.m. transfer from your hotel to port AJATO Harbor: Navigate to meeting of the two rivers (FOTO) (NEGRO RIVER & SOLIMOES)
After meeting the waters navigates to JANAUARY LAKE (FOTO) to explorer the flooded forest; at JANAURY ecologic reserve there is possibility to see monkeys, birds, alligators, Samaúma trees and giant water lilies (vitória-régia)
Lunch at restaurant, delicious regional local fish dishes (buffet)
After lunch (FOTO)continue navigation upstream on the Rio Negro to swim with pink dolphins and Visiting indigenous village (FOTO) (to see the presentation of the introductory of tribal rituals.
Return to Manaus, arrival time at 17:00 hr
