Urubu River: 3 – 4 days

Itinerary

The Urubu River is a tributary of the great Amazon River located at District of Presidente FIGUEREDO 98 Km East of Manaus. The trip to this river is very enjoyable you will see rapids and waterfalls.

Day 1: Pick up from your hotel; transfer by VAN or by car to Urubu River for 2 hours drive. The adventure start here, you go downstream by boat this time; first stop will be in half an hour. Jungle hike through the rainforest to see the bat cave and jaguar cave with about 15 meters wal.

First campsite PAREDÃO CLIFF) (fotox) locate in front of a 25 meters high cliff rocky wall. 
SET tarp on top in case of rain campsite, hang hammocks/mosquito nets to sleep.

Day 2:  After breakfast you will continue going downstream the by boat to CACHOEIRA DA LUA.

JUNGLE HIKING to the fall CACHOEIRA DA LUA and explore a round the fall. Lunch; after lunch continue the trip by boat to the next campsite CACHOERIRA DA IRACEMA.

Day 3: After breakfast continue selling downstream to caboclo house (native family house) to experience how the native people lives in amazon. Activity: canoeing, piranha fishing and caiman spotting.

Option: sleep at native house.  

Day 4: continue downstream to EMBRAPA or RAMAL DO BANCO and return to Manaus by van or by car. (Price per person U$D 80/PERSON).
