Itinerary
1rst day: Departure: Start at 8:00 from your hotel and transfer to CEASA harbor; from CEASA take a speedboat to cross the river to see the “meeting of the waters” (FOTO) and to Careiro village, from Careiro village take a van to Maçarico lake approximately an hour ride, from Maçarico lake to Paraná DO MAMORI: here you will take the second speed boat to go to “lodge”
Lunch and after (FOTO) you start the activities by motorized canoe, a reconnaissance tour to observe the birds, piranha fishing and dolphin observation. Back to the lodge for dinner, after dinner you will go for the caiman spotting tour.
(Tour guide will catches a smaller caiman to explain to you).
2nd day: At 5:00hr a.m. sunrise tour, bird watching, back to the lodge for breakfast;
after breakfast (FOTO) is jungle hiking, return by 11:00 a.m. (We do not promise that you will see all the wild animals; but, you know the forest is their home)
Next activity (FOTO) start at 3:00 p.m. this time you go the forest for overnight (sleeping in the jungle)
Dinner and breakfast is prepared in the jungle; so, you need to help your tour guide to collect firewood to prepare your dinner.
(If you are vegetarian, report your guide in advance)
3rd day: Breakfast in the jungle, after breakfast you will be heading back to the lodge.
On the way to lodge you will be looking for the birds, dolphins and monkeys.
Lunch: 12:00 p.m.
After lunch (FOTO) another canoe ride to explorer the flooded forest (this activity is mostly done during the high water months)
4rd day: After breakfast (FOTO) you going to visit the native house to see the manioc plantation; which, for the Amazonian is main diet, tropical fruit trees like acai, cacao trees, cupuaçu trees and see Indian Handcrafts.
Lunch at 12:00 p.m. After lunch return to Manaus, to be in Manaus at 4:30 p.m.
